Carnot Game Description
Carnot Game is an engaging game grounded in the Carnot Cycle. Here, the participant has to alternate among three thermal reservoirs (hot, insulator, and cold) in order to amplify the amount of work applied to the piston inside a cylinder. The objective is to ensure the piston keeps running along the ideal Carnot cycle, performing changes between reservoirs at the proper time so the cylinder neither bursts nor becomes frozen. The nearer the player stays to the Carnot cycle, the larger their score and advancement.
The player is required to press the button to move between the system’s thermal reservoirs, keeping in mind that the switches must be made at the correct moments to prevent the piston from locking up or the cylinder from exploding. The Carnot cycle is composed of four thermodynamic processes
